2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the site, the server automatically stores information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. We process this data to deliver the website securely and to detect attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short period, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider.
3. Security plugin Wordfence
We use Wordfence by Defiant Inc. to protect the website against attacks. Wordfence processes your IP address and request data to detect and block malicious traffic and, for this purpose, may compare IP addresses with threat lists of Defiant Inc. (USA). Legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Data transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
4. Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics or marketing. Only technically necessary cookies may be set, for example by WordPress when you log in or by the security plugin (§ 25 (2) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not use tracking, analytics tools, social media plugins or embedded videos and maps.
5. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made.
6. Images from our other websites
One image on this site is loaded from another website operated by us (okr-beratung.com). In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to the server of that website, which is used solely to deliver the image (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
7. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (for example name, organisation, email address and your message) to answer your request and to prepare and carry out the team day (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We delete the data when it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply (for invoices up to ten years).
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI).
9. Changes
We update this policy when our website or the law changes. Last updated: November 2026.
